Downloads

Everything you need to run CryptoSoul from your desktop. The platform works in the browser, but the desktop client offers a few advantages: faster load times, system tray integration, and offline access to documentation. This page also includes downloadable documentation bundles and resource files.

Desktop Client

The CryptoSoul desktop client wraps the platform in a dedicated application window. It's the same CryptoSoul experience you get in the browser, packaged for Windows. The client connects to the same servers, uses the same account, and syncs your progress identically.

Why use it? Three practical reasons. First, no browser tab management — the client runs in its own window and sits in your system tray when minimized. Second, the client pre-caches game assets on install, so your first game load is significantly faster than a fresh browser session. Third, it eliminates the chance of accidentally closing your game session by closing the wrong browser tab.

The client auto-updates when new versions are available. You'll see a notification on launch if an update is ready. Updates are typically small and apply in under a minute.

CryptoSoul.zip — Windows 10/11 compatible

Installation Steps

  1. Download the ZIP file using the button above.
  2. Extract the archive to a location of your choice. Right-click the ZIP → "Extract All" or use your preferred archive tool.
  3. Run CryptoSoul.exe from the extracted folder. Windows may show a SmartScreen prompt on first launch — click "More info" → "Run anyway."
  4. Log in with your existing CryptoSoul account credentials. If you don't have an account yet, you can create one through the client.
  5. Allow the initial asset download. On first launch, the client downloads and caches game assets. This takes 1–3 minutes depending on your connection speed.

After the first launch, subsequent startups take a few seconds. The client checks for asset updates on each launch and only downloads what's changed.

Documentation Bundles

Prefer reading offline? The documentation bundles contain the full content of the CryptoSoul Learn hub and Whitepaper in a portable format. These are static HTML bundles — open the index file in any browser, no internet connection required.

Bundles are regenerated when significant content updates occur. The version date is included in the filename. If your bundle is more than a few months old, check back here for an updated version.

Documentation bundles include:

  • All Learn hub guides (cryptocurrency, wallet safety, seed phrases, caching, web security)
  • The complete Whitepaper
  • Game guides and strategy content
  • FAQ and troubleshooting references

These are the same pages you'd find on the website — formatted for offline reading with all internal links working within the bundle.

System Requirements

The desktop client is lightweight. Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11
  • RAM: 4 GB minimum (8 GB recommended)
  • Disk space: 200 MB for the client plus cached assets
  • Internet: Required for gameplay and account sync. Offline mode supports documentation browsing only.
  • Display: 1280×720 minimum resolution

The client runs on standard hardware without issue. It doesn't require a dedicated GPU or any special drivers. If your machine runs a modern browser comfortably, the desktop client will work fine.

Troubleshooting

SmartScreen warning on first launch. Windows SmartScreen may flag the application because it's not from the Microsoft Store. This is normal for independently distributed applications. Click "More info" → "Run anyway" to proceed. The application is safe — it connects only to CryptoSoul's own servers.

Client won't start after extraction. Make sure you extracted the full ZIP archive — running the EXE from inside the ZIP without extracting will cause errors because supporting files aren't accessible. Extract everything to a folder first, then run from there.

Game assets not loading. If the initial asset download is interrupted, the client may show missing visuals. Close the client completely, restart it, and it will resume the download from where it left off. If the issue persists, delete the "cache" folder inside the client directory and relaunch.

Login issues. The client uses the same credentials as the web platform. If you can log into the website but not the client, check that your firewall or antivirus isn't blocking the application's network access.

Using the Game Guides with the Client

The Game Guides are designed to work alongside active gameplay. A common setup: keep the guides open in a browser on one side of your screen while running the desktop client on the other. This lets you reference strategies while playing without alt-tabbing away from the game.

The Whitepaper includes technical details on how the desktop client communicates with the platform servers, if you're curious about the architecture. The Learn hub covers general security practices that apply when using any downloaded application.

💻

Tip: Pin the desktop client to your taskbar after first launch. The system tray icon shows notification badges for daily challenge resets and airdrop announcements — a quick visual reminder without needing to open the app.
