Account Registration

Setting up a CryptoSoul account is the first step toward earning SOUL tokens, accessing game modes, and managing your wallet. This page walks through the full registration process — what you need before you start, how each step works, what verification levels exist, and what features become available once your account is active. Whether you're creating your first crypto platform account or migrating from another service, the process is designed to be straightforward without cutting corners on security.

What You Need Before Registering

The registration itself takes under five minutes, but having a few things prepared before you start eliminates backtracking. Here's the short list:

  • A working email address you control — confirmation links are sent here, and it becomes your primary recovery method
  • A strong, unique password — at least 12 characters mixing uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Do not reuse a password from another platform
  • An authenticator app installed on your phone — you'll want two-factor authentication enabled immediately after account creation
  • Optional: a referral code, if someone shared one with you — this can be entered during registration for both parties to receive a bonus

If you're setting up a wallet for the first time alongside your account, read the Wallet Safety guide first. Understanding key management before you start accumulating tokens saves headaches later. You don't need a wallet to register, but you'll need one before your first withdrawal.

Registration Steps

The process follows a standard sequence. Each step unlocks progressively more platform functionality:

  1. Create your account. Provide your email address and set a password. The system checks email format and password strength in real time. If the password doesn't meet the minimum complexity requirements, you'll see a specific message explaining what's missing.
  2. Verify your email. A confirmation link is sent to your inbox. Click it within 24 hours to activate your account. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder — the sender address is a no-reply domain under cryptosoul.io. You can request a new link from the login page if the original expires.
  3. Complete your profile. After email confirmation, you'll be prompted to set a display name and configure basic preferences. Display names are visible in PvP and on leaderboards. Pick something you're comfortable with — it can be changed later, but there's a cooldown period between changes.
  4. Enable two-factor authentication. This step is technically optional at signup, but it becomes mandatory before you can make any withdrawals. Enabling it immediately is strongly recommended. The setup takes 60 seconds: scan a QR code with your authenticator app, enter the verification code, and save your backup codes somewhere secure.
  5. Configure your wallet address. Link an external wallet for future SOUL withdrawals. The wallet management section walks through address configuration in detail.

Verification Levels

CryptoSoul uses tiered verification to balance accessibility with regulatory requirements. Each level unlocks higher limits and additional features:

  • Level 1 — Email verified: Play games, earn SOUL, participate in daily challenges, access the Learn hub and all educational content. Withdrawal limits are set at the basic tier.
  • Level 2 — Identity verified: Higher daily and monthly withdrawal limits, access to PvP ranked matches, and eligibility for special events. Identity verification involves submitting a government-issued ID and a brief selfie check.
  • Level 3 — Enhanced verification: Maximum withdrawal limits, priority support queue, and access to beta features. This level requires additional documentation and is typically pursued by high-volume users.

You can start playing and earning immediately at Level 1. Many users stay at Level 1 for weeks or months before upgrading — there's no rush, and your earned SOUL doesn't expire regardless of verification level.

What Unlocks After Registration

Once your account is active and email-verified, the full platform opens up. Here's what becomes available:

  • Game access: Merge Cats, daily challenges, and PvP modes (ranked PvP requires Level 2). Earning starts from your very first session.
  • Dashboard and cabinet: Your personal dashboard tracks token balance, game history, referral stats, and account settings. Everything funnels through this central hub.
  • Withdrawal capability: After enabling 2FA and completing the first-time cooldown (24 hours), you can withdraw SOUL tokens to your external wallet.
  • Referral link: Every registered user gets a unique referral link. Share it to earn bonuses when others sign up and start playing.
  • Community features: Leaderboards, event participation, and access to community-driven content like strategy discussions.

Security Recommendations for New Accounts

The first 48 hours after registration are when most security mistakes happen. People rush through setup and skip steps that matter later. Here's a tight checklist:

  • Enable 2FA before doing anything else — not after your first withdrawal attempt, not next week, now
  • Save your 2FA backup codes in a separate location from your password — if you lose your phone, these codes are your only recovery path
  • Set up your external wallet address while you're in setup mode — don't wait until you have a large balance to figure out wallet configuration
  • Review the Wallet Safety and Seed Phrase Backup guides before your first significant earning session
